Grisel Márquez-Razón is a highly versatile sculptor and installation artist, whose prowess has been fostered in 3D disciplines, fabrication methods and scale. Her work evokes a sense of immersive experiences that challenge, inspire, and engage the senses. Her path has been enriched by collaborations with local artists and architects to bring to life innovative and engaging space interventions. She has also worked on personal commissions locally and created a myriad of visual displays and fixtures for a major retail corporation. Her latest collaboration was for the Wobbleland Traveling exhibit at New Children’s Museum. Currently she works at Mingei International Museum as the Registration and Exhibitions assistant. In this capacity, she cares and helps manage the museum’s permanent collection, and develops preparation for exhibitions.
